Green pea variety is popular grown as microgreens and garnish. The shoots have a nice pea, sweet flavor.

Cultivation: Soak seeds in cold water 12-24 hours. Sow seeds by broadcasting in soil tray and tamp into soil. Lightly cover with soil. Keep covered for 3 to 4 more days before exposing light. Water daily so the soil is moist but not soggy. Harvest at desired length.

Culinary tips: Young pea shoot-tips and leaves have a delicious pea flavor. Fresh pea shoots are great as garnish to sandwiches, tacos and to any salad. Excellent in stir-fry with garlic in dishes such as Chinese dau miao.
