Cultivation: Prefers mild and cool temperatures. Prepare fertile, well-drained soil. Sow seeds in spring after last frost or late summer/early fall (mulch plants heavily for early spring crop). Keep soil consistently moist. Dry soil, long days and warm temperatures encourage bolting.
For baby leaf, sow seeds in a 2-4" wide band, 3/4" apart. Harvest at desired maturity. Sow seeds every 1-2 weeks for continuous harvest.
