Cultivation: Prepare fertile, deeply dug, well-drained soil. Sow seeds in spring after last frost to late summer in a warm, sunny location. Keep soil moist. Fertilize as needed. Thin by cutting to avoid disturbing remaining roots.
Please note: Maturity, adaptability and disease tolerance may differ under your specific climate and/or growing conditions.
Culinary tips: Good for eating fresh, as well as sautéing or steaming. Cooked carrots retain their purple color.
