Cultivation: Prepare fertile, well-drained soil. Sow seeds in late spring/early summer after last frost in a sunny location. Keep soil moist. Fertilize as needed. Train to climb a vertical support. Harvest at 8-10" long when beans start to bulge in the pods and are about 1" in size. Can also be harvested for dry beans.
Please note: Maturity, adaptability and disease tolerance may differ under your specific climate and/or growing conditions.
Culinary tips: Soak dry beans before boiling. When cooked, rinse and add sugar and salt. Dissolve sugar by reheating. Toss with a large spoon to avoid breaking the beans.
