Yukina Savoy looks like a larger and savoyed version of Tatsoi. The thick, dark green, shiny, spoon-shaped leaves grow upright on pale green petioles. This vigorous and easy to grow plant is heat and cold resistant and can be grown year round. It has a mild flavor when harvested young.

Cultivation: Prepare fertile, well-drained soil. In cool areas, sow seeds in late spring after last frost in a sunny location and harvest in early summer through fall. In temperate areas, sow seeds from spring through fall. Keep soil moist. Fertilize as needed. Harvest young baby leaves for salad mix or harvest the whole plant when fully mature at 10-12” tall.
