 Kogiku |
This Japanese pumpkin squash is an early maturing and disease resistant
producer of large fruit that weigh roughly 2 pounds each. The green shiny skin is so dark it almost looks black, and it is textured with 17 to 20 slits. Underneath, the dark yellow flesh
has a sweetness and flavor that makes it popular with Japanese
caterers and professional chefs. Unlike some other varieties, Kogiku also reliably produces uniform fruits, perfect for the gourmet food industry.
- Approx. 25-35 seeds in packet. (A seed will vary in weight and size within a given seed lot. The number of seeds stated is only an estimate.)
