Ao Shiso for sprouting
The
Ao Shiso for Sprouting is comparable to Green Perilla in both its cinnamon flavor (sometimes described as a combination of basil and mint) and green color. This variety, however, is grown for use in micro mixtures and is valued for its vigorous growth and faster germination. The uniquely flavored sprouting shoots make an excellent garnish, particularly for fish. They’re a delightful addition to green or cabbage salads, as well.
