Valued for its flavor and growth characteristics, this cucumber is a heavy producer of light-green striped fruit that are best when harvested between 8" and 18" long. When grown on a trellis, the narrow fruit grows
straight; when grown on the ground, it will curl. The Striped Armenian cucumber, also known as snake melon, is a musthave for summer salads — sweet, crunchy and even fragrant, with minimal seeds.
