Sango - All Purple

Raphanus sativus

Sango - All Purple
Seed #362
This is a spectacular variety of microgreen/sprouting radish to add color to your mix. Seedlings are approximately 3-4" tall, most of which are a uniform eggplant-purple color, although some are green or green-purple in color. Cool temperatures intensify color. Purple stems grow darker toward the top of the sprout, ending in a pair of dark purple heart-shaped leaves. Popular in micro mixtures for color, flavor and nutritional value.
  • Cool season annual
  • Approx. 300-400 seeds in packet. (A seed will vary in weight and size within a given seed lot. The number of seeds stated is only an estimate.)

Harvest by cutting when seedlings reach 3-4". For smaller sprouts, use a sprouting jar indoors. Wash seeds thoroughly before planting and wash sprouts well before eating.
