This Chinese celery grows dark green leaves atop thin stems. The leaves have a strong celery flavor that is perfect for a stir-fry or soup, but not as a raw vegetable. The flavor becomes even stronger as the plants dry out, making it ideal for use as a dried herb. Chinese celery plants need a lot of moisture and thrive in the cooler temperatures of spring and fall.
