This variety is another popular selling daikon in Japan's markets. The radish root grows up to 14" and weighs over 1.5 pounds and the color of the root is white with a green shoulder. It has very late pithiness and has excellent slow bolting characteristics. This variety is sown in winter from late fall. It is harvested in spring and it is the seasonal counter-part to the Relish Cross variety. This excellent quality daikon can be used in cooking, pickling and eaten fresh.
