This variety is from Taiwan and is also known as Pointed Leaf Lettuce. As its name suggests, this oriental lettuce has long pointed bright green leaves. Taiwan lettuce is referred to as "a choy" and is a very popular vegetable green in Taiwan. Harvest at an early stage when leaves and stems are young and crispy. An excellent choice for home gardeners. This variety is used in Cantonese cuisine. Try the leafy green in salad or stir-fry.
