 Golden Yellow, Hybrid |
The color of this pak choi lives up to its name! The leaves are bright yellowish-green that adds color contrast to fresh and cooked dishes. It is also called Kinkoh hybrid variety in Japan. The leaf texture is much softer than other pak choi (bok choy) types but the flavor is similar to pak choi types. Plants have a uniform fan-pattern shape and growth. This variety is heat tolerant and can be grown year-round in sub-tropical to tropical areas. Not recommended for low temperature regions. Harvest in 25 days or when plant reaches desired maturity. This is a mild-tasting green and adds a delicate flavor to salads, stir-fries and rich stocks. Excellent choice for growing in home gardens and for commercial production. Can be grown as micro-greens.
