This is a loose-head type Chinese cabbage grown widely throughout Japan. The leaves are light green, slightly serrated, and frilly with white petioles. It grows fast and vigorously to 8" tall. Can be grown year-round in sub-tropical areas. This mild-tasting green is very popular in South East Asia and adds a delicate flavor to stir-fries and rich stocks.
