Highly tolerant to cold temperatures, this adaptable Japanese pole garden pea is a generous producer. The early maturer has white flowers and pods that yield 8 medium sized bright green peas. The fresh peas are delicious lightly boiled, steamed or stir-fried, and they make a tasty and nutritious addition to soup.
