This butter head lettuce is a Japanese variety known for its delicate flavor and resistance to heat. Soft, deep green leaves form small heads that have a medium resistance to bolting. Lettuce grows best in cool weather. Sow seeds in spring or late summer every 10-14 days for staggering crops. A light dressing is all the seasoning this variety needs.
