The most popular all-season Japanese daikon. The white-fleshed root is tapered and has a strong, hot pungency. Sow seeds in spring or early fall. Harvest when roots reach 10"-16" long. Use in soup, salad, pickled or freshly grated and mixed with soy sauce to make a dipping sauce for tempura.
