This winter hardy heirloom from Southern China has long, dark green, serrated leaves and a slightly pungent flavor. The plant is semi-upright and tolerates both heat and cold. It has an excellent mustard flavor and tender texture. Also known as Green In the Snow and Suehlihung.

Cultivation: Prepare fertile, well-drained soil. Sow seeds in late summer/early fall. Keep soil moist. Fertilize as needed. The flavor is best when grown briskly so plant in fertile soil and keep well watered. Harvest when fully mature at 14-18” tall.
