This is an easy to grow, barrel head type Chinese cabbage that is hardy against cold temperatures and well suited for close planting. A staple in many parts of Asia, Chinese cabbage is often used in soups and stir-fries. For use in winter, it can be dried in the sun. Young leaves can be used in salad.
